Chris, Is there a functionality where it allows you to remove unwanted pictures? Say as a admin?

    • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-01-25 08:46:00

Yes, I have included that functionality. In fact as the admin you can delete pictures remotely right through the app!

      • Joey1155 2015-01-25 08:53:27

Nice! I noticed you have an option to report photo's. Once someone reports an inappropriate photo does the photo get deleted right away or do I have to approve the deletion? Also does the graphics support the IPhone 6 & 6+?

        • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-01-25 09:03:17

If someone reports a photo it will be marked as such and You as the Admin will have the discretion to remove it or mark it back as a not inappropriate. Currently graphics are not iPhone 6 or 6 Plus optimized.

          • Joey1155 2015-01-25 09:07:58

Great! One more thing. Is it possible to change out the FB login and replace it with a standard sign up form? Would that take a lot of customization?

            • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-01-25 09:14:13

Yes, If you are a seasoned dev you will have no problems removing the default FB Login and adding a standard login mechanism. If your not than it will be challenging and may require some help.

              • Joey1155 2015-01-25 09:24:27

Gotcha. Few more questions and I'll leave you alone haha! I noticed you integrated the app with Parse. Is the app set up to send and receive push notifications? If so, how does that work? I'm curious because you have to pay if you receive 1 million unique recipients. Also does parse store all of the apps photo's on there database? Because you only get 20G of file storage and database storage.

                • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-01-25 09:38:11

Yes push notifications are setup. If you have 1M users you should be able to afford the overage costs for push and file storage. In other words don't worry about that until the time comes.

  • Hi,

I was try with fb app but only works with weblogin facebook.
    ???
It works with fb app installed in iphone?

    • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-01-19 16:46:14

Not sure what your asking? Did you purchase the code?

    • rodbarrientos Buyer 2015-01-19 16:56:38

Yes, I did. But I can login when I'm login in fb app. Show me message "Something when wrong. Please try again" so I need logout on fb app and after that login by fb by web is ok.

    • rodbarrientos Buyer 2015-01-19 22:04:40

      Yes, of course :D

      • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-01-20 01:31:38

That could be the reason as the App Store version has not been updated to the same Chupamobile version. Its still waiting for Apple to review it.

    • rodbarrientos Buyer 2015-01-20 01:41:22

I'm trying with like a testing ...is not in app store yet.

      • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-01-20 01:48:54

I was talking about our AppStore version. It has the Facebook login problem and that version is not updated yet with the same version here on Chupamobile. That may of been the issue since you may of had both versions installed. Make sense?

    • rodbarrientos Buyer 2015-01-23 02:16:42

      Yes dude! now works.

  • geniegroupau 2015-01-16 07:53:14 Thread #57120

@Chupa Team, Thanks, I found the problem which was related to the Aviary Image Editor SDK which I updated to the latest version in this new update to Snapify. I have submitted an update to Chupamobile which fixes these issues so hopfully they will approve it fairly quickly.

    • Chupa Team 2015-01-13 19:04:25

We have approved the update :)

  • mukymowse Buyer 2014-12-29 09:38:44 Thread #54643

Hello Chris, just wondering if you will be releasing a version of Snapify that incorporates the new Facebook Graph API v2.0? Am I mistaken in understanding that all apps using facebook login with require this by April 2015. Is that correct?

    • mukymowse Buyer 2015-01-03 03:27:21

Hello, any follow up regarding this query?

    • Chupa Team 2015-01-04 19:43:36

@mukymowse, we have contacted Christopher that will get back to you shortly. Thanks!

    • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-01-07 20:43:30

Does Snapify not already support the latest Facebook API?

    • mukymowse Buyer 2015-01-08 08:32:36

Hello Chris, from what i understand facebook seems to now require the ability to give users new permission options when logging in (if you google "The New Facebook Login and Graph API 2.0" that info will pop up). About a month ago Parse released an updated version of Anypic on Github that implements these changes (see their PAPLoginViewController and PAPWelcomeViewController). From what I can tell apps will be given till April 30, 2015 to implement the new Facebook Graph API v2 requirements after which it looks like apps using the old facebook methods will have issues with permissions and logging in.

    • mukymowse Buyer 2015-01-11 01:32:47

Hello, just wondering if I made sense with the above explanation and if these changes will be addressed in any further updates to Snapify. If so when could we expect that to be released. Thank you!

    • Chupa Team 2015-01-12 12:17:35

@christopher.coudriet can you have a look pleas? Thank you

    • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-01-12 18:45:51

Just released an update that officially supports Xcode 6 and iOS 8.

    • mukymowse Buyer 2015-01-16 11:36:24

HI Chris, thanks for the update! So this version matches the latest Anypic version on github? Just want to make sure my app won't have issues past April 2015. Thanks a lot.

      • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-01-16 21:44:45

No Problem, Not sure its exactly the the AnyPic version but I did test it pretty extensively and should not be a problem going forward.

    NSURL *url = [NSURL URLWithString:[NSString stringWithFormat:@"http://www.yourserver.com/snapifyParseAdmin.plist?seedVar=%f", (float)random()/RAND_MAX]];

    adminData = [[NSDictionary alloc] initWithContentsOfURL:url];

i've followed every instruction but I'm having problems with this server part.

I need to own a server to make this app work?

It doesn't work on IOS 8

  • mukymowse Buyer 2014-11-28 12:26:09 Thread #51264

Hi. Just purchased the code and am having a little difficulty uploading photos. I'm getting the same error mentioned in the comments below (invalid acl key). I have inserted the parse objectId for the first key and userobjectId for the second key (in the correct locations of the snapifyParseAdmin.plist). I've also put my facebook appid in the 2 appropriate locations.

I have worked with the anypic original source code and got a version of that running, however that code did not implement the parseadmin.plist as far as I can tell (any particular reason the Snapify code requires this?). Also I stored the ParseAdmin.plist in dropbox and pasted a link to that plist in the AppDelegate.m (where it asks for the url for my server).

Everything else works fine, just that I can't get the app to upload photos. Hope you can help. Thank you very much.

      Hi Christopher, any idea?

    • christopher.coudriet Author 2014-11-28 16:36:35

Hi, mukymowse, Thanks for your purchase! The parseadmin.plist is a convenient way for you to update admin credentials without having to submit a new app update. The parseadmin.plist essentially gives you admin rights to delete any users photo that you deem inappropriate. The parseadmin.plist is not a requirement but will help you manage the app content from right inside the app and not have to go to your parse account to delete a users photo.  Not sure Dropbox will work as your server. Are you able to see the admin credentials in NSLog?

    • Chupa Team 2014-11-28 17:48:22

      Thanks Chris :)

    • mukymowse Buyer 2014-11-29 01:21:10

Thanks a lot Chris! That makes perfect sense. And you were right, using Dropbox as a server was the issue. It's working now. Thank you for the quick reply!
