for the new update please make the app in storyboards or make it support iPads. We desperately need this in the update.

@Christopher.Coudriet are you thinking to release an update?

  • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-10-26 18:24:26 Thread #98221

@Chupa_Team @Christopher.coudriet Apple is saying they weren't able to log in using Facebook to even preview my app. Initially when re skinning this script I myself couldn't log in using Facebook either and I followed all of the directions correctly. Overall I just want to know if there's a fix being released soon and when? Thanks for any update

  • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-10-25 19:34:38 Thread #98095

My app was rejected this morning due to issues with the app not being compatible with iOS 9.0.2 and they also said there were issues with the Facebook login after following every step including in your documentation Christopher Coudriet. Please advise and assist.

"We discovered one or more bugs in your app when reviewed on iPhone running iOS 9.0.2 on both Wi-Fi and cellular networks."

"We noticed that your app uses Facebook login for authentication purposes but does not include account-based features offered by that site, which does not comply with the App Store Review"

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-10-26 18:10:17

      UPDATE: From Apple 10-26-15

Your application was rejected for violating App Store Review Guideline 2.2 for exhibiting bugs that prevent the normal use of your application. Specifically, during review, we were unable to login to your application using a standard Facebook account. The rejection notes we provided (iPhone running iOS 9.0.2 on Wi-Fi and cellular networks) are provided as a courtesy in order for you to help reproduce the issue in order for you to seek a resolution.

We look forward to your resubmission.

I never received an email that you guys even responded here. How will I be notified when the update is available

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-11-03 16:37:45

@Chupa_Team @Christopher.coudriet Also, will the code work with Xcode 7? Each time I upload the project into X code I get a bunch of errors when trying to run and build the app.

  • perfexa Buyer 2015-09-23 20:14:14 Thread #93844

@Christopher.coudriet @Chupa_Team Please can this be updated to iOS 9, it has been rejected by Apple for this very reason, i need to get my app out there ASAP, as it stands i am stuck, both myself and many others require your support, i appreciate you maybe busy on other projects, however please can you update this

    Thank you

    • Chupa Team 2015-09-24 18:37:03

@Christopher.coudriet are you planning to update Snapify to iOS 9?

  • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-22 21:32:59 Thread #93691

nothing has changed. I asked for my money back 5 days ago due to the template not bring being iOS 9 ready and I get an email from Chupamobile saying that the template doesn't specify that it is ready for iOS. I've spent money on a product I thought would be suitable and paid someone to reskin it only to be stuck now. Worst experience

    • Chupa Team 2015-09-23 19:01:01

@Armani_Rouse this product is correctly advretised as compatible with iOS 8.1.x. For this reason we can not issue the refund.

@Christopher.coudriet are you thinking to release an upgrade to iOS latest release?

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-10-25 19:38:16

Problem is iOS 9 was released maybe a week after purchasing so understanding your policy but logically considering when the product was purchased and when the new OS was released the fact it's optimized for iOS 8.1 shouldn't have anything to do with it. Bottom line is even after getting over the fact that I wouldn't be issued a refund I went ahead and submitted the app anyway only to have it rejected for the very same reasons I mentioned it would. I'm sure Christopher is busy buts it's not good business because this is my first time on this platform and I'm having issues. The reskin process isn't as easy as the authors make it sound when they're releasing prod cuts that's are incompatible.

  • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-17 04:43:18 Thread #92820

This template isn't compatible for any OS pass 7.0?

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-17 22:15:02

The buyer below me clearly has experienced the same issue I'm facing. The app is being rejected because the template is optimized for iOS 7 and not for the new iOS 9. I am requesting a refund as I may as well try re skinning and optimizing the AnyPic project myself. Someone needs to get back to me before this 14 day refund period is up, support is terrible here

Hi, will you be updating this to iOS9 ? i've now had an app rejected due to this.

  • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-11 02:55:38 Thread #91859

    Hi Chris!

Getting started with X Code, does it matter which template I use for re skinning the app? Tab, master, paged based application?

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-11 04:07:05

I'm getting a "build failed" error when Running the app. I added all my Parse account details and it's still giving me errors here. What to do?

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-10 15:34:01

I'm going to purchase the package today and try re skinning the app myself via X Code. I just need help with submission to the App Store. I'm purchasing via debit card, how long before I have the files?

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-10 18:10:24

I've purchased the packaged but have yet to receive an email confirmation or the files to the package. Can you please help me Christopher?

@Armani_rouse the app template is available for downlaod from your dashborad:

We wish you all the success!

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-10 20:35:02

Thanks guys! I was wondering if there was a way to edit the app using a windows desktop or would I have to wait until I'm in front of my mac?

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-11 14:07:26

@chupateam I need help getting started. I'm getting errors regarding the Parse App Id and etc and I've added all the correct credentials

    • Chupa Team 2015-09-11 16:19:13

@Armani_rouse can you please provide more details so that the author can support you?

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-11 16:28:43

      More details? OK! Getting Started

      1. Go to and signed up for a free account (I ALREADY HAVE AN ACCOUNT SO WHAT AM I DOING HERE??)

      2. Locate the Settings.h file located in the project tree under the Controllers folder (I DID THIS AND GOT ERRORS AFTER INPUTTING MY CREDENTIALS BETWEEN THE "" PROVIDED)

      3. Put in your credentials in the appropriate marked sections (DONE AS DESCRIBED ABOVE IN STEP 3 AND IM GETTING BUILD ERRORS EACH TIME I RUN THE PROJECT)

      4. Launch the app on your device (WHAT DEVICE, MY MAC< MY IPHONE???)

      5. Locate the snapifyParseAdmin.plist file inside the Extras folder inside the main project folder you downloaded(DONE, NOW WAS I SUPPOSED TO UPLOAD THIS FILE INTO X CODE AS WELL? YOU"RE TELLING ME TO LOCATE THE FILE BUT NOT GIVING ANY DIRECTION AS TO WHAT IM OPENING THIS WITH OR WHAT TO DO WITH THE FILE?)

      6. Go to you account on and under your app locate and tap on the Data Browser tab then on the left the User Class. Copy your ObjectId and your Channel into the respective locations in the snapifyParseAdmin.plist file. Save and upload the file to your server. Please note: This step makes you the admin and moderator of user content. This is also required by Apple. (IM STILL STUCK ON STEP 2 SO EVEN AFTER DOING THIS STEP THE OBJECTID WAS EMPTY)

I'm new developing so honestly the fact this didnt include instructions on even getting the project started in x code is a little odd. It starts telling you to open a Parse account but NOWHERE in the tutorial does it even mention X code, for any beginner this is going to be a problem, I would spend 5 minutes updating these instructions and not skip over what you assume everyone will know already.

    • christopher.coudriet Author 2015-09-12 01:18:36

      1. If you already have a Parse Account then just create a new app under that account.

      2. Make sure you are uncommenting the lines with your Parse Credentials. ie; remove the forward slashes.

      3. See step 2

      4. On your iPhone

      5. Open with Xcode to edit it. Then upload to your server.

      Please advise.

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-12 15:44:02

Nowhere in your PDF do you mention a server I thought this is what Parse was acting as, please be more clear here. How am I going about a server? Do you mean a domain host? Opening the Snapify app on my iPhone does what exactly? I tried this my first time and simply saw the old content posted from existing users. "Uncommenting the lines" so I'm removing the forward slashes but where? Your instructions say to simply fill in my credentials, it never mentioned removing anything. Christopher with all due respect I strongly feel these instructions were written fast and with the assumption everyone reading would automatically understand you but this isn't the case and it's evident because I went through 7 pages of the comments here and read all 267 and people were saying some of the same things. This I a great product but if you were to make the instructions more "user friendly" it would increase sales and I'm sure it's selling fine as is but it could do better. With that said I have a very important question to ask. Speaking with a Chupamobile representative I was told I couldn't change the name of the app or use a different app icon for my app. Is this true? If so, I'm afraid I'll have to cancel. I don't see the point in releasing a bunch of Snapify apps that simply may be skinned a different color.

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-12 15:48:54

Also, I have domain hosting services with What would I need to upload there to make this function correctly

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-12 17:34:44

UPDATE: Removing the // from the Settings.h file did indeed fix those build errors I was receiving in X Code. I called and they said to please specify what additional services I need to purchase from them as I only purchased my web domain through them. Am I adding hosting services or what to upload the plist file?

(How do I copy my ObjectID? Theres no data whatsoever in the new app I created on Parse. What "Channel" am I copying?)

      7. Go back to and tap on the Settings tap then Push notifications upload your push certificate from Apple and also flip the switch to turn on Client push enabled. (Where would I get a push certificate from Apple? Would this be in my Developer console on Itunes Connect?)

      8. Locate the AppDelegate.m and in the - (id)init at the top put in the url that points to the snapifyParseAdmin.plist file. (Where do I find the URL? Would this be after I purchased hosting services?)

      Thanks guy

    • armani_rouse Buyer 2015-09-14 15:41:58

Also Christopher, I think apart of my problem also was that I did not have the Parse SDK installed. I simply created a new app but there was a "getting started with Parse" button that when pressed took me to a page to install the Parse SDK. Is this step required as well? And the "plist file" i opened in Notepad and saw where the ObjectID and Push Channel credentials go but am I uploading this to my server "cPanel" after editing it? If so, all I need is hosting services with my domain registrant so I can upload the file.

      9. Locate LogInViewController.m and in the didTapTermsButtonAction put in the url that points to your terms of use policy (Would this be the URL where I'll host my own terms of service? If so I'll have to create this page)

  • perfexa Buyer 2015-08-27 14:16:48 Thread #89875

Hi, is there any reason why the push notifications arn't coming through all the time? despite the fact it's correctly configured? The app is now live in the appstore.
