Chupamobile Ltd. secures seed investment

Chupamobile, a leading marketplace for buying and selling source code and components for Mobile App developments, today announced a Seed Funding round and the launch of Chupamobile Ltd., headquartered in London. Terms of the investment were not disclosed. Fabio Pezzotti, one of the most successful serial entrepreneurs in Internet and Mobile Ventures in Europe, joins the co-founders, Stefano Argiolas and Paolo De Santis.
About Fabio Pezzotti
Fabio (46) has co-founded his first Internet venture, Xoom S.p.a., in 1998, which became very soon the largest web community in Italy, with over 1.5 million Italian members. The Company was later acquired by the Internet subsidiary of Telecom Italia. Later on, in 2006, Fabio founded in London Mobango Ltd., the first social network able aggregating over 6 million members distributing and interacting with user generated content and Apps via mobile internet. Mobango closed 2 institutional round between 2006 and 2008, and was acquired by the Mumbai based People Infocom late in 2010. People Infocom is one of the leading Internet and Mobile content groups in India, backed by Sequoia and Intel Capital. Fabio is also an active investors in early stage startup and member of IAG (Italian Angels for Growth, one of the largest business angel networks in Europe).
