  • Hi,

I have purchased the iOS version of this source code and am thinking of purchasing the Android version too.

Are the Android resources EXACTLY the same as the iOS resources?

Are the resource files named the same?

Are the resource files organised in the same directory structure?

Thanks and I look forward to your response

    • AppyPocket Author 2014-09-02 04:35:50

Hi iappbusiness, yes the resources are the same in the android version as the iOS version and have the same name structure. The android version is cocos2dx and the iOS version is cocos2d so there are a few small differences but have he same directory structure.

    Hello,

We have downloaded the documentation and the skin is in black and white, the sound files are empty and it does not properly work in ANDROID 2.3. could you please provide a solution?

    Thank you

    • AppyPocket Author 2014-08-26 18:31:24

The artwork is black and white and the sound files are empty since they have to be replaced anyways as part of the source code agreement. We do not include original assets due to multiple violations. With regards to it not working properly on android 2.3 can you provide now details for me please like what the issue is you're experiencing. Thank you.

    Hi AppyPocket,

I am trying to search the admob id's that you have stated in the documents but couldn't find it.

Can you just tell me the filename where these admob id's can be found?

    It is easier that way.

    Thanks.

    • AppyPocket Author 2014-05-28 20:53:40

The admob ids are located in the GameMain.h file located in the Classes folder. Hope this helps :)

        Thanks! Found it!

Hello, I would like know if Can I use this app in eclipse to reskin it.

    • AppyPocket Author 2014-04-15 19:58:28

Yes, but as noted in the description please note that this game is in Cocos2d-x so you cannot import this code directly in Eclipse. To run this code additional setup is required for eclipse (JNI, NDK, etc) For additional information you can Google "setting up cocos2d-x for android" The game includes documentation on what is required to reskin it, but not instructions on coding and working with Eclipse. Hope this helps :)

I just found this good but after detail check up, its just a 3rd class quality game i have ever seen. very bad code written. incomplete documentation won't help anyone to make it or improve this game to next level its just replace graphics and put it on store.. Game has no variable to edit, we cannot change time of game, on small change whole game starts showing errors.. inshort its just waste of money. developer must make it simple to use instead of blackmailing developer to buy this game and then ask him for paid changes.. Things he must do: Fully written documentation for every type of developer specially for those countries where removeads is not supported, easy to delete admob code, easy to increase time of game, easy to remove game time based or unlimited. WE ARE PAYING YOU FOR FULL SOURCE CODE AND ITS GUIDE, not for wasting our money.

    • AppyPocket Author 2014-03-28 00:19:35

I pride myself on providing clean quality source codes which are very easy to reskin and I provide support on how to reskin the game. I so not provide instructions on how to be a cocos2dx programmer or modify the game. If you are making changes to the code which works perfectly and it's creating errors how is this the fault of the code?

      • azeemgujjar 2014-03-28 00:24:50

We are not buying your games to just reskin, we want your source code to save out time. your code is extremely bad written, without any clear comments. and you are saying that you are providing code only for skinning then i am sorry to say your documentation even not clearly telling anyone on which page and line number we need to change code. You really eat my money, your code is garbage for me.

        • AppyPocket Author 2014-03-28 00:37:28

I am happy to issue you a refund. Please email support@chupamobile.com Thank you for your business and good luck in your app business.

this error is showing everytime, after we first test run on devide. what's wrong is this? "The import com.android.vending.billing.IInAppBillingService cannot be resolved"

    • AppyPocket Author 2014-03-24 01:17:27

You must set up your app and inapp purchases in Google Play and make sure your Google Merchant account is set up. Also don't forget to replace my inapp purchase bundle IDs with your own.

    • azeemgujjar 2014-03-24 13:11:08

Where are app bundle ids written, you document is really very short written, alteast mention pages which we need to modify. sorry to say but you need to work more for documentation is next release.

      • AppyPocket Author 2014-03-26 04:16:09

As per the included documentation you can simply search for "com.appypocket.jewel.removeads" (located in the PZPlayer.java file) and replace it with your own.

  • azeemgujjar 2014-03-22 23:46:01 Thread #17423

documentation wont't include information about which version of cocos2d-x , android ndk, and all other plugins we need for this.. please update you documentation properly, also please tell me which version we need to compile it successfully.

    • AppyPocket Author 2014-03-24 01:23:05

Hello and thank you for your business. We only provide documentation on what specifically needs to be done to reskin the application before publishing it to Google Play. We do not provide training on how to work with Cocos2d-x which requires additional steps to import into eclipse. We may provide a training course in the future with detailed instructions but not at this time. We'd be happy to provide you with support on any code related issues.

Your provided PZPlayer.apk file is not working in geneymotion android emulator.. what's wrong.. can we test game on emulator or not?

    • AppyPocket Author 2014-03-22 03:38:29

Hi Azeemgujjar, we recommend testing it on an actual device. I cannot comment on the functionality of an emulator which tend to be buggy. If the apk is not working for you, you can just download and play the game here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appypocket.jewel
